The Transgrancanaria The North Face is one of the most renowned mountain races in the world, held annually in Gran Canaria and attracting runners from all over the globe. It offers categories for different levels and ages, from the 5 km Family Trail, designed for families to participate together, to the 126 km Classic, the most demanding ultramarathon that crosses the island from north to south. Other categories include the VK El Gigante Vertical Kilometer, the Promo 12 km, the Half 23 km, the Marathon 47 km, and the Advanced 82 km.
The race passes through some of Gran Canaria's most iconic landscapes, such as Roque Nublo, Tejeda, and Teror, offering participants spectacular views and direct contact with the island's natural environment. Thanks to its prestige and organization, the Transgrancanaria has gained international recognition, attracting professional and amateur runners from around the world and establishing itself as one of the most important mountain ultramarathons globally.
