MSC Euribia, MSC Cruises' latest flagship, has made its debut at the port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
We joined the port representatives for a warm welcome to the crew in a small reception, sharing commemorative details of this significant moment.
This groundbreaking vessel is the company's second to run on liquefied natural gas, the cleanest marine fuel available today. It is included in the Meraviglia-Plus category, representing the cleanest, most intelligent, and efficient cruises. The name "MSC Euribia" is inspired by the ancient goddess Eurybia, who dominated the winds, weather, and constellations to command the seas. This naming choice reflects the ship's vision to lead in implementing cutting-edge technologies to safeguard and conserve the precious marine ecosystem.
As the 22nd addition to MSC Cruises' fleet, this ship boasts a length of 331 meters, 19 decks, 35,000 m2 of public space, and 2,419 cabins, accommodating over 6,300 passengers.
MSC Cruises reinforces its commitment to the Canary Islands with this first call of its flagship in Gran Canaria, a key destination in the company's offer together with Lanzarote, where 10 more calls are expected until the end of the season.
